Those absolutely realistic heads are made out fo metal. You can also marker the surface to get an even more realistic sculpin pattern.

You need to mount and glue the head after you have finished the fly. Just use super glue (Zap A Gap) or UHU Kraft or any other water resitant glue - expoxy glue also works fine.
