The Whiting Birf Fur hackles are almost similar to the spey hackles. The bird fur hackles have a higher fiber density. Thus the hackles can be used to baitfish streamer and tails.
Also seatrout and perch streamers can be tied with bird fur. Additionally bird fur has better availability than Spey Hackle rooster capes.
Shrimp patterns can be tied as well.
